  • Include higher serving of fruits, vegetables, whole grains and less of saturated fats in your diet to manage high cholesterol and obesity found to be associated with sexual problems6


  • Avoid weight gain. Diabetic obese patients who lost 5% of their weight experienced better erection3,6
  • Don’t take stress.
    Stress is one of the most common causes of sexual problems
  • Avoid smoking as it causes constriction of blood vessels in sexual functioning areas1,5
  • Do not be ashamed of seeking counseling if required4
  • Do not be a couch potato. Get moving with regular exercise for about 20 to 30 minutes will increase the blood flow to all areas in body6
